A heart-wrenching incident took place in Kushinagar district at 8 am today, a boat full of laborers derailed in the stream of Narayani river this morning, in total 10 including 9 women in the boat, where 7 lives were saved, the same woman including two girls Death occurred due to drowning, as soon as the information about the incident was received, DM, SP and regional MLA reached the spot and took complete information about the incident.
It is said that at 8 o’clock in the morning, a small boat full of 10 laborers including 9 women, who were going to cut wheat across the Narayani river located in Salikpur village of Khadda police station area, overturned in the river, 7 people somehow managed to save their lives but two A woman, including girls, went missing in the water, after hours of effort, the body could be retrieved, after this accident there has been an uproar among the relatives of the deceased.
On getting information about the incident, DM S Rajalingam, SP Sachindra Patel, MLA Vivekanand Pandey reached the spot and inquired about the incident. Police have taken the bodies in possession and sent them for post-mortem.
